Die Frage klingt jetzt vermutlich, als wäre ich völlig durchgeknallt. Keine Panik, bin ich nicht. Ich möchte nur auf einen Artikel aufmerksam machen, den ich gefunden habe. Und dieser postuliert, dass wir bei dem technischen Fortschritt, den wir an den Tag legen, ja eventuell irgendwann in einen posthumanen Zustand wechseln mit unserer Gesellschaft… z.B. unsere Gehirne in Rechner hochladen und so Zeug. Und eventuell könnte genau das schon einmal passiert sein… Ich weiß das ist recht spekulativ, aber ständig dieses NSA Zeug macht ja auch irgendwie schlechte Laune.
This paper argues that at least one of the following propositions is true: (1) the human species is very likely to go extinct before reaching a “posthuman” stage; (2) any posthuman civilization is extremely unlikely to run a significant number of simulations of their evolutionary history (or variations thereof); (3) we are almost certainly living in a computer simulation. It follows that the belief that there is a significant chance that we will one day become posthumans who run ancestor-simulations is false, unless we are currently living in a simulation. A number of other consequences of this result are also discussed.

Ich denke mal der wichtigste Punkt, der gegen die obige These spricht ist der, dass wir zu doof sind und vermutlich auch bleiben werden jemals fehlerfreie Software zu schreiben. Da hätten wir längst große Bugs gesehen wenn es wahr wäre.

Passend dazu ist auch irgendwie die These von der „Leaky Future Conjecture“.
The Leaky Future Conjecture (LFC) asks „What if nature were able to leak information from the future to its own past?“ Although human-like time travelers are standard fare in Science Fiction, the conjecture makes no presumptions about what form this communication might take. A Leaky Future could take the form of a stream of bits of information, perhaps as a stream of electromagnetic radiation. The transmission bit rate of this information could be much slower, say, measured in bits per year or centuries. It could operate at very small scale, such as DNA replication, or at the very large scale, such as the sun’s solar cycle.
