Der „State of the Blogosphere“<\/strong> geh\u00f6rt zum Grundinventar f\u00fcr jeden der an der „Frontier of Science, Tech & Learning“ blogged. Technorati gibt jedes Vierteljahr einen \u00dcberblick heraus, wie sich die Weblog-Sph\u00e4re weltweit (zumindest das was technorati tracken kann) entwickelt hat. Es ist mal wieder soweit gewesen am 5. April: Technorati, bzw. David Sifry<\/strong> hat die neusten Zahlen & Statistiken zur Blogosph\u00e4re<\/strong><\/a> vorgestellt.<\/p>\n

Die harten Fakten kurz vorweg:<\/p>\n

  1. 70 million weblogs<\/li>\n
  2. About 120,000 new weblogs each day, or…<\/li>\n
  3. 1.4 new blogs every second<\/li>\n
  4. 3000-7000 new splogs (fake, or spam blogs) created every day<\/li>\n
  5. Peak of 11,000 splogs per day last December<\/li>\n
  6. 1.5 million posts per day, or…<\/li>\n
  7. 17 posts per second<\/li>\n
  8. Growing from 35 to 75 million blogs took 320 days<\/li>\n
  9. 22 blogs among the top 100 blogs among the top 100 sources linked to in Q4 2006 – up from 12 in the prior quarter<\/li>\n
  10. Japanese the #1 blogging language at 37%<\/li>\n
  11. English second at 33%<\/li>\n
  12. Chinese third at 8%<\/li>\n
  13. Italian fourth at 3%<\/li>\n
  14. Farsi a newcomer in the top 10 at 1%<\/li>\n
  15. English the most even in postings around-the-clock<\/li>\n
  16. Tracking 230 million posts with tags or categories<\/li>\n
  17. 35% of all February 2007 posts used tags<\/li>\n
  18. 2.5 million blogs posted at least one tagged post in February<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
